Healing From Cancer

14+years ago when I was diagnosed with brain cancer, I’m amazed at how little I knew. It’s something how once, I didn’t even realize how active we could be when it comes to our own daily healing. It’s a blessing to control what we eat, and being able to do something each day to nourish ourselves!

1.) Another thing my oncologist never told me

He NEVER mentioned the healing power of green juice!

Like I’ve said before, nutrition is something that my oncologist always steered clear of. Meaning if I tried to bring it up, it was crickets. No response!

So of course, he never mentioned ANYTHING about green juice. Now that I’ve been making my own fresh green juices for over 10 years, I can’t believe my oncologist refused to talk about the most nutritious, the most beautiful natural juice that exists. I mean come on, just look at that color!  And here’s a list of what I like to include in my own cancer-fighting green juice:

If you have any questions about green juice, which juicer I like to use, anything, please comment below. And of course, if you’d like to share anything about your own green juice, feel free!

2.) Why cancer HATES ginger…

Here’s why ginger is yet another HUGE enemy of cancer:

What’s gingerol? It’s that real deal, no BS, without a doubt the MAIN protective compound of ginger. Gingerol is actually what classifies our beloved ginger as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and even a protector against some cancers, including breast, lung and colorectal cancers!

By the way, I was giddy over this ginger actually helps to empty our stomach faster–oh yessss! Since undigested food sitting in our stomach causes (what can be) painful gas and discomfort, then oh wow, what a gift that ginger speeds up digestion!

What’s the ultimate gift? That ginger improving our digestion can help us better absorb the nutrients we need when healing from cancer.

And ginger’s been studied as a healing alternative for different forms of cancer including liver, pancreatic, colorectal, breast and ovarian cancers.
